Small Spaces

vc2043

Updated: Feb 9, 2023

I was recently shown an article in which an American professor has moved into a dumpster (or bin as we know it in the UK) for one year as a project to see if people could be happier living in small spaces, with simplicity as the main value. He said that this was a comfortable way to live as you can put the dumpster virtually anywhere, and he also said that it could be powered by solar energy, and surface water.

He is a prime example that living in small spaces is perfectly possible. It all depends on the expectations of what you want from your living situation. Some people like large homes to accommodate lots of different aspirations of living standard, others are happy with small flats, one room, or now even a dumpster.
