Watling Street Development

Our developer client wanted us to obtain planning permission and building regulation approval for three new houses.  We had some quite exacting spatial requirements to achieve and the design of the houses was complex due to a steep bank needed for car access and a massive drop down to lower gardens behind, leaving quite a thin ribbon of land to build on.  The layout was also complicated due to the many trees, most of which could not be removed. We also had to resolve the problem of potential noise from trains at the back of the site.
